Benjamin Taylor was born and raised in the state of Texas and currently resides in the Dallas metropolitan area. He has spent time living in various parts of the United States, including Dallas, Austin, San Diego, and Philadelphia, as well as for a brief time in Florence, Italy.

He is a December 2008 graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Real Estate.
